¨      Mayor, Buena Vista Township, Atlantic County, New Jersey.

¨      Planning Board ‑ Class I Member, Public Safety, Economic Development, Environmental Commission, Clean Communities Program, and Special Events Committee.

¨   New Jersey State League of Municipalities Since 1992:  Member Board of Directors; School Funding Task Force; Chairman - League Volunteerism Committee; Chairman School/Municipal Relations Task Force (finding new ways Municipalities and School Boards can work together on common issues); Member - School Finance Committee (worked to find new ways to fund education and provide property tax relief);  Member - Sand Mining and Quarry Task Force.  Serves as Moderator for many League programs and forums. 

¨   Board of Directors ‑ New Jersey Conference of Mayors; Board of Directors - Atlantic County Representative, Since 1996; Committees: Sand Mining and Quarry, Constitutional Convention

¨      Elected the first Chairman of the Pinelands Municipal Council (3/96).  Helped to re-establish Council of 53 Mayors of Pinelands Communities.  Served Seven Years as Chairman and three years as Vice-Chairman. Currently Chairman.

Special Achievements include:  Relocation of the New Jersey State Police Troop A Headquarters to Buena Vista Township; Established - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center;  helped secure - Federal designation for the Wild and Scenic Maurice River (headwaters in Buena Vista), and Established Veteran’s Pavilion and Memorial for Veterans of All Wars (Court of Honor) at the Michael Debbi Park in Richland, Kindest Place in New Jersey 2001, Wilder Hines Park in Newtonville, New Public Works Facility in East Vineland, Establishment of the Richland Village Project.
