Parks and Recreation
Our Public Works Department maintains park and recreation
facilities in Buena Vista Township for use by our residents.
Saw Mill Park, is located on
Route 40 between Fir and Greenbriar Avenues. This park features a gazebo,
railroad caboose, children's play train, 200+ year old oak tree and a 9/11
Memorial. The 1.7 acre park is adjacent to the new Patcong Valley Model
Railroad Building and Buena Vista Township Visitors Center.

Park, located on Cedar Avenue in Richland, has a street hockey rink, basketball
and tennis courts, baseball and football fields, swings, special events center,
pavilion and the Bob James Softball Field, which was dedicated during the
Independence Day Celebration on July 2, 2000. 
The Quigley Park in Collings Lakes has a street hockey rink,
basketball and tennis courts, swings and playground equipment.
Wilder Hines Park on Jackson Road is home to the Dr. Martin
Luther King Center, has a baseball field, basketball courts and new
state-of-the-art playground equipment provided by Rural Opportunities who
operate a day care facility at the King Center.
Lake Ann Park is located on Sorrento Road. This park has
swings, a basketball court and playground equipment.
Questions about park use should be addressed to the Clerk's
Office. Group use: an application must be filled out and submitted to the
Recreation Committee for approval prior to use.
