Mr. Pellegrini has been with the Township for 32 Years.

As the Zoning Officer, Mr. Pellegrini is responsible for examining applications, issuing zoning permits, inspecting buildings and properties for possible violations and issuing summonses if necessary.

Mr. Pellegrini also serves as the Code Enforcement Officer. In this capacity he enforces all codes of the Township and issues summonses if necessary.

In his capacity as Review Officer, Mr. Pellegrini reviews all applications for single family dwellings before they are faxed to the Pinelands Commission for review and signing. This procedure saves the property owner approximately thirty days of review time that the Pineland's required three (3) years ago.

The Planning Board hears applications on sub-divisions, site plans and variances that are brought in to the Planning Board for review.

As an Economic Development member he Reviews Revolving Loan Applications, Promotional Business's within the Township.

As the Public Officer he determines if a structure is unsafe or unfit for human habitation or structure is dangerous or injurious to the health or safety of the occupants of such building.

Diane began her employment with Buena Vista Township on May 15, 1989, and over the past years have familiarized herself with the Township geography and residents to a great extent. Working in various offices, Tax Collection & Assessment and then onto the Planning & Zoning offices has brought her great experience that are beneficial to the residents and property owners. Keeping up to day with ever changing Pinelands Commissions regulations and Municipal Land Use laws is a top priority for Diane, in order for her office’s ability to help and guide the property owners in the right directions.

During the work day she handles all Planning and Zoning Board inquiries and applications and administrative/secretarial duties, assists the Zoning /Code Enforcement/Local Review Officer and the Fire Marshall.

Diane is also the BVT Safety Coordinator and Treasurer of the Safety budget, Treasurer and caretaker of the Buena Vista/Buena Boro/Weymouth Township Municipal Drug Alliance.

She is a volunteer for the BVT Special Events Committee, Chairperson of the Hometown Happiness Program and Southern Regional Director of the New Jersey Association of Planning and Zoning Administrators.

Diane holds Certifications of the State of New Jersey for Planning & Zoning Board Secretary, Land Use Administrator and Zoning Official.
