Office of Mayor Chuck Chiarello
The Mayor's Office coordinates agendas, meetings, and activities for the Township Committee. The office is the focal point for contacts with the community, new projects, information, and citizen correspondence. "The Mayor's position is a part time job with full time responsibilities" says Mayor Chuck Chiarello. "We have a very good staff to handle a wide array of issues but sometimes people come right to the Mayor's Office. We try to direct our citizens to the best department or agency to resolve their issues" says Chiarello.
Joan S. Stahl Joan Stahl has worked in the Mayor's Office since February of 2002. Joan coordinates a wide variety of projects in addition to handling the Mayor's phone calls, emails, and letters. She directs citizens to the proper department to handle their concerns. Joan is the liaison to the Special Events Committee which coordinates events including the Easter Egg Hunt, Holiday Tree Lighting, Miss Buena Vista, Independence Day Celebration, Summer Concerts, Comedy Night and other activities throughout the year. Joan is in charge of our Township website which she updates daily. She also puts announcements on Comcast Cable Channel 9 and sends Press Releases to the media. Along with Mayor Chiarello she coordinates the annual Buena Vista Township Calendar and Community Newsletter for our residents. Joan also takes photographs and coordinates distribution of Township information to our schools and businesses. Joan is also the Secretary for the Safety Committee. | |||||||||
