The Buena Historical Society received authorization to utilize the old Buena Borough Municipal building for its organization and displays.

The Society will be focusing their efforts on refurbishing and renovating the building. Both Buena Borough and Buena Vista Township pledged funds to start the improvements.

Mayor Chuck Chiarello recently stated that the Township Committee committed $ 5,000.00 to the project that will preserve our communities’ histories. Up until 1949 Buena Vista Township included what is now known as Buena Borough. We share many common roots. The Township was established in 1867 and originally included Folsom as well.
