The boys raised almost $1,000 for the group and county by selling Italian ice and lemonade at the town's July 4th event.

They also donated some of the proceeds to the township to help with future community events. Committeeman Michael Rivera presented participation awards to the troop.

The Scouts also pitched in on cleanups of Lorraine Boulevard and Railroad Avenue, which allowed them to raise money while helping to beautify the area. The Vineland-based troop has 10 members from Buena Vista.
