BVT Continues Kindness Activities

Committeewoman Sue Barber and Mayor Chuck Chiarello recently met with Andrea Inverso, Director of the Statewide Kindness Awareness campaign. The meeting was held in Buena Vista Township Hall and plans were made to kick-off next year’s Kindness Awareness campaign.

This year’s campaign will start on September 28, 2001 at 1:30 pm at the Zane-North Elementary School in Collingswood. Township officials made it possible for the Statewide Kindness Awareness Program to have a free booth at the recent New Jersey Conference of Mayors Summit in Cumberland County. The Kindness campaign is a very important program that has very limited resources. Buena Vista Township is working hard to interest more towns and find possible sponsors for the program.
