Black History Dinner Celebration in Buena Vista
Includes Special Visit by US Senator Corzine

On Saturday, March 3, 2001 the Atlantic Rural Development Coalition (ARDC) sponsored a dinner in honor of Black History Month.  The dinner was held at the Dr. Martin Luther King Community Center in Newtonville.  A large crowd gathered for the event including members of the Buena Vista Township Committee, Mayor Chuck Chiarello, Deputy Mayor Teresa Kelly, Committeeman Pete Bylone, Committeeman Mike Rivera, and a special appearance by United States Senator Jon Corzine who greeted attendees.  The Reverend Ralph Williams was a special guest speaker.  Ticket proceeds will to benefit the Community Center.  Bravo to Deborah Stalling-Patton Community Center Coordinator, Robert Hadley, ARDC Executive Director, and the many other people who planned and organized the event, for a job well done!
